To me photo was a solo (mostly) sport, and video was team. Now I know the sound options on the D800 are alleviating a lot of those issues, but still... Notice no one is mentioning the anti aliasing / moiré difference between the D800 v D800e... Last year I upgraded from an old Canon 30D to a Canon 7D. I am glad I did - but what has made the difference in my photography over the last year has been mostly about me, not the equipment. A photograph is in large part about the photographer behind the camera not the camera itself. I think if people put a lot more effort into skill improvement rather than obtaining and worrying about new gear they would see more of a benefit.
