Announcing a new sponsor for the Morocco Photo Adventure!

I’m pleased to announce that we have a new sponsor for our Moroccan Photo Adventure. The awesome people at OnOne Software, makers of award-winning plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom & Apple Aperture, have kindly agreed to join forces with us.

OnOne Software has kindly donated a copy of their Perfect Photo Suite (valued at $499.95) to give away to one of our lucky participants. Their Perfect Photo Suite contains seven unique tools that will help you through your processing workflow. It contains the most recent versions of Perfect Resize (powered by Genuine Fractals) for resizing, Mask Pro for removing unwanted backgrounds, PhotoTune for color correction, FocalPoint for selective focus and PhotoTools and PhotoFrame for amazing photographic effects. Plus, you get their newest product—Perfect Layers for Lightroom and Aperture. The Perfect Photo Suite is a great value, and it’s currently on sale during OnOne Software’s Summer Sale!

My sincere thanks to onOne software for making this possible!

MOROCCO PHOTOGRAPHIC ADVENTURE

Today I am very pleased to announce that after almost two years of careful planning and preparation, that I will be offering a brand new photographic adventure to the land where I was born: Morocco.

This is not a fast-paced tour that puts quantity ahead of quality. I deliberately chose to reduce the number of places we visit to take our time, to give you ample opportunity to show you the best Morocco has to offer. The adventure will take place this coming fall and starts October 29th and ends on November 5th, 2011 (8 days, Saturday to Saturday).

For more information, please head to the workshop and photographic adventure page here.

Architecture Workshop Results

As promised, Hagen and Sandy were both kind enough to send me a few images they took during their private workshop with yours truly over the past two week-ends. Working with these guys was about as much fun as it  can be and I had a blast (and I didn’t even have to pay!).

You can see some more of their work on their respective websites: Hagen Hohn and Sandra Finner.

I have been holding out for this announcement for a little while, but I can finally make it. I am very pleased to annound that PhotoLife magazine has invited me to lead one of their exclusive workshops in the Canadian Arctic. This unique cruise will take us from Resolute Bay to Kuujjuaq down magnificent Baffin Island’s eastern coast from September 6-15, 2010. Not only will we be able to take advantage of the long days of the arctic summer and visit some unique landscapes and animal reserves but we may be able to see some incredible northern lights!

For more information, download the brochure here.

Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

Back in Fall Force

The rain finally subsided for a little while this week-end. I took the opportunity to get out and scout out a few areas for my upcoming workshop, trying to see how the colours are coming along and where the best spots are (these obviously from year to year).

Well it looks like, once again, we are in for a treat. The colours have yet to peak – though that shouldn’t be too far- but you can already see this is going to be another spectacular colour season. Here is  a little preview of what’s coming.
