I’ve been wanting to give you a glimpse of what my Morocco Adventures look like. But not through my eyes. Rather, through the eyes of my participants and new friends. Stephanie and Michelle have kindly agreed to share their favorite images with you. For me it’s always exciting to see what different people see in the same scene. And this is no different. We were all standing in the same places at the same time, yet we each have completely different images to show for it. Today, we will start with Stephanie’s images. Michelle’s will be up tomorrow! Rockin’ The Kasbah Morocco Tour 2012

I am very pleased to announce that I will be offering a new photographic adventure to Morocco in 2012. This will not be your run-of-the-mill tour that takes you from one bus stop to the other on the main touristic road. Rather, I have carefully designed this adventure to take the road less travelled and to show you some of the most amazing sights this country has to offer. This is not a fast-paced tour that puts quantity ahead of quality. I deliberately chose to reduce the number of places we visit to take our time, to give you ample opportunity to take in the atmosphere of the places we will be visiting. The adventure, The Rockin’ the Kasbah Tour, will take place from May 19-29, 2012 and will concentrate on the southern delights of the land from mountain to desert.

2012 Ottawa Workshops

In case you missed it on the twitter/FB/G+-sphere, I have announced my 2012 workshop lineup for the coming year. This year I have decided to offer a more sustained lineup throughout the year, with varied offerings to suit most. There are three series of workshops this year (other than my international workshops to be announced at the end of November):

Two winter photography workshops (February) to make the most of what the Ottawan winter has to offer.
Two workshops entitled “Seeing with new eyes”, where we will be working on abstract compositions in urban and natural settings (in April)
Throughout the year, several workshops to teach you how to blend exposures in photoshop.
