Against the odds

Alone – click to see larger version, it`s worth it :)

On my last photo tour to Morocco, we were on our way back from the sand dunes of Morocco through the winding roads of the Tichka Pass in the high Atlas. The weather was changing seemingly at a whim from sunny and warm to dark and menacing. Just the sort of drama I like. As we made it to the top of the pass, the landscape was a sight to behold. Golden bushes sparkled throughout the dark land. The heavy clouds and occasional rays of sun made it sing. Yet, was captured my imagination at that moment, was the isolated Juniper at the top of this ridge. Fragile and defenseless against the elements, yet, there it was. Standing against all odds.

If you missed it, don’t forget to check my new Morocco Photo Adventure: Rockin’ the Kasbah in May 2012.

Stairway to Hell?

(Over)Exposed

I like a well exposed image without traces of flare. I guess, it doesn't hurt to stray away from your own rules.Click Here to View Larger.

Rainbow Land

Better viewed LARGE. D700, Sigma 70-200 @200mm, polarizer, handheld. Enjoy

Have you noticed how the colours from the land match those of the rainbow? Mindblowing isn’t it?

Postcard from Morocco

Well that went fast. Real fast. I can’t quite believe that my Land of Contrasts adventure in Morocco has come and gone. Eight days of fun-filled, food-packed and superb light action. Suffice it to say that we had a fantastic group of people down in Morocco and that a great time and amazing memories were had by all. Stay tuned for details of the 2012 Land of Contrast series at the end of the month, but I have some more great stuff lined up. In the meantime, enjoy this postcard from the lovely town of Chefchaouen.

Now off to some honeymoon/R&R time. Barcelona, here we come!
