I’ve been keeping this one under wraps for quite some time but I am super excited to share the news with you: I have this month’s cover of Photolife! While I’ve been a contributor for many years and have scored several covers of Photosolution this is my first cover of Photolife, hence the excitement!
The excitement is also double because this is really one of my favourite images and certainly the most incredible light show I have ever witnessed. Summer thunderstorm rolling overhead as the sun sets to the west, lightning shooting in the distance, clouds ablaze all around. A sight I will never forget.
Well, I’ve been biting my lips for a few months now and I can finally say this: I am proud to announce that I am the new regular contributor to the largest Canadian photography magazine: Photolife. If you think I am psyched, think again! I am ecstatic ! To think that last year I was wondering how the heck I could get even get a single photograph considered, I now get to have articles and features in every issue. I even get a picture of myself in there too now . A big thanks to Xavier Bonacorsi (the editor in chief) and the Photolife/Photosolution team for making this possible.
My first feature, titled “The Hidden Rockies” explores some of my favorite places in the Canadian Rockies. If you get a chance to pick up the issue, make sure you drop me a line here, I am always happy to hear from you.
Yes, it’s that time of the year, yet again. Photosho, issue #5 is about to hit the stands. You can get a sneak preview and order copies online directly at http://photosho.ca. This is a special all black and white issue centering on the theme of Architectural Grandeur. This is a great Canadian magazine, with some fantastic Canadian content and that deserves our support!
