This year I will be offering three types of workshops in the Ottawa Area. Please do not hesitate to contact me at younes@younesbounhar.com should you have any questions.
Winter Photography
While the idea of a season long hibernation can be really tempting in our part of the world, Science hasn’t quite delivered on that just yet. Therefore, instead of packing your photography gear for the whole winter, why don’t you join me in our lovely area for some amazing photographic adventure! I will show you our national capital in ways you haven’t imagined before during this full day workshop (sunrise to sunset). This workshop is open to photographers of all levels and is limited to 6 participants. This workshop will require a decent fitness level and snowshoes or skis (which can be rented at several areas around town), as I will be taking you to places that are not otherwise accessible!
Dates:
- Saturday, February 11, 2012
- Saturday, February 25, 2012
Cost: $300 per person
Seeing with new eyes
Come join me on a 2-day tour of exploration around the city and surrounding areas learning to look at the world around you in a whole new way and focus exclusively on abstract compositions. We will we get away from all the technical mumble jumble and go through the basic elements of visual design then learn to use them in the field, unlocking the doors of your creativity. This workshop will be split between field shooting and in-class session, with built-in time for critique sessions. This workshop is open to photographers of all levels and is limited to 6 participants.
Dates:
- April 21-22, 2012
- April 28-29, 2012
Cost: $450 per person
Exposure Blending
You love to photograph sunsets and sunrises and would like to find a way to control the contrast in these scenes? You find HDR too garish and not natural looking? You don’t feel like toting around a slew of Neutral Density gradient filters? This course will show you just that by showing you an amazing technique to tame highly contrasty scenes. This is 4-hour, in-class session that will first go through some RAW workflow basics, delve into using layers and masks and finally introduce you to the magic of exposure blending. (Bringing your laptop computer, loaded with Photoshop is necessary for this course). This class is limited to 4 participants.
Dates:
- Saturday, January 21, 2012
- Saturday, March 10, 2012
- Saturday, March 10, 2012
- Other dates available (Please inquire).
