Old Love

Moraine and I go a long way. Back when I was young and petulant, she threw her charms at me and I was seduced in an instant.

Oh, there was disappointment. There was sadness. Many a battle waged. Many losses I suffered. Yet, like a fool, I kept coming back. The lure too strong to resist. The urge, irrational, yet irrepressible.

Here I was again, five years almost to the day, kneeling at her foot, yearning, wishing and hoping for her to flash a bit of that magic that can capture a soul. On this day though, she wouldn’t disappoint.

And, by the way, if you haven’t checked it out yet, our 2013 Moroccan Adventure:  Blue Magic Tour is now open for registration. Hurry up, only 3 spots left!

Fantastic images, Younes. It’s amazing that Moraine Lake can look great and totally different in so many conditions.

Like you, I love to visit this lake. There is something about it that draws you back. This has to be for me the best place in the moutains to visit. There are a lot of beautiful places here in Banff and Jasper but. Moraine lake draws me back always..Can’t drive by without stopping and standing on the shore.

    thanks for sharing your photos.

Your work is so beautiful! I am also an artist, a painter! I just opened a store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/PaintingWithPassion I also get most of my inspiration from natural landscapes and nature.
