As you may have guessed from my spotty attendance on this forum, the last year of my life has been one of tremendous change. Good change, excitement, fulfilled dreams. As of a couple of weeks ago, I left my job to dedicate myself to the passion that has been burning within me for the last few years: photography. As many of you know, my lovely partner in crime Amanda and I have launched doublespace a few months ago. And we will be spending a lot of time nurturing that project of ours. That said, I will not forget you loyal friends and readers…I vow to continue my work here on younesbounhar.com and promise to be a lot more present than the last little while. I will continue, to share my work, my dreams, my travels with you. We will also continue to give our photo tours (stay tuned on that front!).
Now, to celebrate this change, as well as my father and my birthday, my dad and I flew to Calgary on August 26, with the intent to spend a week in my beloved Rocky Mountains. It was a chance for me to do something I have always wanted to: father-and-son one on one time, sharing some of the things I love the most with a man who has shaped much of who I am today (sorry for the sappiness, but I’ve got to give credit where credit is due ).
And what a week it has been…it wasn’t a week for photography really, but the Rockies are such that you just can’t help yourself. Here are a few images from our time together. Many more to come over the next few weeks.
