Well, not exactly in Paris…only about 6000km away, but sleepless nonetheless. I just realised recently, as I stumbled across my archives, that I posted very few images from my trip to Paris in September of last year. So I figured that, in keeping with this week’s theme of large cities with beautiful architecture, some images from La Ville Lumiere would be most appropriate. As you will notice these are not your classical views from the city. In addition to the “not to be missed” highlights, Paris offers some great opportunities for abstracts. Here are a few that caught my attention during an afternoon at La Defense.

These are beautiful Younes! My gravitates to the colour and texture, repeating lines and the motion of the person. You certainly have honed in that abstract eye. Lovely as always.
