Van Gogh Waters
Times are pretty busy these days, so I am just dropping by for a quick image. I took this during last week’s fall workshop. I intentionally used a fast shutter speed to freeze the water motion and show the beautiful textures and colours. Some pretty big announcements will be coming up soon for some amazing workshop opportunities next fall Stay tuned !
Workshop, a success
My fall colour workshop took place on this past week-end and great fun was had by all (well at least so they say). While my participants are still trying to recover from the beating I laid on them this week-end (wake up at 4am, back at home at 9-10 pm each day), I figured I’d post a picture I took last night on the final shoot, just before we packed and left. I am also still too dazed to tell you about it all, so more to come very shortly (well, “very” is VERY relative here…). Again, a huge thank you to all of you who have made this workshop an awesome and memorable experience for me. Also a big thank you to Jenn for coming down from her far-flung far far away land to help with the organisation, the logistics and the moral support!
Just one more note, I have created a flickr group for my workshop participants (recent, and less recent) to post their favorite shots from the workshops. I will be offering critiques and advice on these photographs as well. Check it out here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/yb_workshops/.
See ya!
Gone with the wind…
Back in Fall Force
The rain finally subsided for a little while this week-end. I took the opportunity to get out and scout out a few areas for my upcoming workshop, trying to see how the colours are coming along and where the best spots are (these obviously from year to year).
Well it looks like, once again, we are in for a treat. The colours have yet to peak – though that shouldn’t be too far- but you can already see this is going to be another spectacular colour season. Here is a little preview of what’s coming.
