Flickrite Workshop

I am watching American Gangster as I am typing this. Really fantastic movie,  have to say. This is no disrespect to the movie, but ya know, it’s the life I live these days…not enough hours to fit everything in…I was told guys couldn’t multitask! Well, I am living proof of the contrary (gotta give myself some props from time to time since no one else will :D ). Further proof that I can multitask, I am doing all of this with this unbearable itch…Which brings us to the subject of today’s post…

No no don’t worry, I am not gonna be talking about itches (I thoroughly subscrive to the Too much information motto). It just happens that while teaching a mini workshop yesterday, I sort of forgot that we were in June: Bug Season in full swing. Mosquitoes, black flies, well they had a feast. It’s funny how you spend weeks preparing for the workshop: the places you’ll visit, the examples you’ll give, the speeches you’ll make…but somehow, you forget BUG SPRAY!!

I clrearly digress, gotta be the lamb koorma I just ate :) .All I really wanted to say was that the workshop was very successful and, bugs aside, funn was had by all. We headed to beautiful Eagle’s nest where some nice light made the pain more bearable.  Thanks to all of you who braved the swarmies, it was a fun afternoon -for me at least-. There are still spots available for the fall workshops, take them while they are still around :) . This fall’s line up will be really exciting with trips both in the Calabogie area going around some of the most dramatic landscape in the region and in amazing Charlevoix.

Have a good week everyone! (and sorry for the rambling :D ).
