Friday Roundup
Quiet Friday…and all the better frankly. It’s been a bit of an intense week as far as I am concerned, so I don’t mind a little rest
.
If you haven’t seen it, this week featured a really interesting interview with photographer Richard Wong on how to use Twitter to promote your photography business. You can see it here: http://younesbounhar.com/marketingbusiness/twitter-photographers-interview-richard-wong/.
On the same topic, I had the pleasure of interviewing stock photography guru Jack Hollingsworth, more on that later this week. I am in the process of editing the audio file and will post a podcast as soon as it’s ready (that’s also a first here, I am really excited about that).
Not to leave you empty-handed, here a few noteworthy posts around the web that I highly recommend.
First off, the ever interesting and awesome Chase Jarvis on “escaping your portfolio”: http://blog.chasejarvis.com/blog/2009/05/escaping-your-portfolio.html
Jim Goldstein opines on the need to weigh your choices when pursuing photographic opportunities. When you are pointing your camera somewhere, you are also pointing it away from many others, so is your choice worth it? : http://www.jmg-galleries.com/blog/2009/05/15/balancing-opportunity-cost-with-creative-pursuits/.
Finally, if you haven’t heard, Scott Kelby is promoting his world wide photo walk. Check out the weblog at http://worldwidephotowalk.com/, there is probably a photo walk near you. Don’t miss it!
Voila! Enjoy your week-ends.

Thanks for the links, some great read there.
Wasn’t aware of Scott’s worldwidephotowalk project, sounds great.
Have a great weekend!
